This program has been prepared as a contribution to higher education and training of professionals in the concepts and implementation of programs for environmental protection and control at local, regional and national levels; the definition of environmental priorities at these tree levels; the definition of the need for studies on environmental protection; the definition of needs for the evaluation of environmental impact; the application of environmental control programs; and finally, the presentation and management of the problems of industry in relation to state agencies responsible for environmental controls.
