The course in Organizational Control and Management Systems is designed to form high-level professionals with skills to develop the best systems of management control, planning, internal controls, and specialized audit, following the new concepts of control proposed in Colombia’s Political Constitution of 1991, and by international academic trends in this field. Also, it is designed to support the processes of modernization and restructuring of private and public organizations through training and development of skills of officers involved in activities such as the design, implementation of internal or external control systems, and the development of schemes for monitoring, follow up, control and evaluation of performance. Finally, these studies are designed to create a scenario for learning and research regarding new conceptual, methodological and technological proposals for systemic and multidisciplinary orientation, as relevant to the area of specialization.
This is achieved through research-action work, in the company in which the student works, supported by teaching staff and monitors for the diploma program with experience in the different areas involved. |
