The main objective of this program is to form professionals to specialize in the social evaluation of projects, for solving economic problems which arise in the evaluation of projects in specific areas, such as electricity, agriculture, industry, transport, or to suppliers, social projects, irrigation and agribusiness. Secondly, the intention is to offer professionals the opportunity to exchange practical experiences, and to make specific evaluations in their given areas in order to improve practices in project evaluation. Finally, there will be greater emphasis on the level of research method used, since 60% of the program is given over to an exhaustive development of the formulation and evaluation of studies of interest to the country, supported by the Government.
