The principal objective is to form professionals in different disciplines in matters of government, and provided them with the conceptual elements and guides for action in the formulation, organization, execution and follow up and evaluation of public policy.

We also provide students with a conceptual framework, so they can understand the different theoretical stand points in thinking today, in context for the rapidly-changing globalized world, and the discussion and management of public policy and the organizations responsible for it. We also introduce skills for the practice of government in the areas of the preparation of public agendas at different levels of government, the analysis, implementation and monitoring of policy, organizational design, articulation of actors in society, and finally, attention to complex matters which are implied by a practice of government and representation.

We therefore see our course as a program for academic formation and practice which is interdisciplinary, flexible autonomous and comprehensive.
