Laboratory of Architectural Prototypes
As part of the process of consolidation of the technical area of the Architecture program, there is the construction of a laboratory, which has enabled us to introduce practices which involve 1.1 experience with techniques and materials. In addition, we have a file of construction materials, which sentence the importance of this type of experience.

Materials
In the field of practice we have twelve items of construction tool equipment, which is used by students during practical work. Each unit is composed of:

• Form
• Mallet
• Plumb
• Level
• Trowel
• Bucket
• 2 nozzles

Physical Plant
We currently run a laboratory practical work on prototypes from the drinking water tank in the area La Caneca. A year ago we acquired a collapsible tent, which covers this area exclusively. In addition, we have a collection of construction material, which is stored in two containers in the department of Architecture.

The High Environmental quality Architecture Laboratory
Current global trends in the evolution of architecture and sciences in general is part of the trend proper to sustainable development. In Colombia, a professional formation lacks technical information and information on content, which will affect our future and current professional activities, along the road to sustainability and eco-efficiency.

Based on these concerns, and on the lack of application of environmental policy, we have worked on the theme of environment with the application of a number of strategies to identify the relationship between this topic and architecture.

The laboratory is the coordinating center of operations of an interdisciplinary alliance managed by the department of architecture in work designed to develop this problem.
