Center for social and international studies (CESO)
The objectives of CESO is to promote research in the departments of the faculty, to unify administration criteria and quality in projects, and to facilitate the dissemination of project results.
CESO has a director responsible for the academic management of the center and its projection to the public. The assessor advisory committee, formed by a professor-researcher for each of the departments in the faculty of social sciences, approves publications, sets general criteria, establishes internal contexts to support research and the dissemination of results, and provides advice on the management and direction of the center.
Although CESO has no graduate programs, its researchers support graduate studies in the various departments of the faculty. This includes supports for the master’s programs in anthropology, political science, psychology and ethno linguistics, and for diploma courses in the theory and experiences in the solution of armed conflict, and negotiation in international relationships.
