The faculty counts with a highly qualified professorial staff which manages several research projects. With the years passing by, some of the research units have gained international recognition and have been cataloged as excellence centers in Colombia as well. The students join the research activity by collaborating with the development of projects as research assistants and peer helpers. An extensive network of national and international relationships allows a permanent academic and scientific exchange. The research activities have provided the Faculty with an own life filled with research groups, schools, seminars, publications, academic options, and undergraduate (Bachelors degree) and graduate (MSc and PhD.) programs. It is important to underline that, in the Faculty, research and teaching walk together hand in hand, growing stronger with each other΄s help.
