The International Summer Course in Economics was created in 1997 to offer very high-level courses to graduate students of the faculty and students and teachers of economics from other universities. The courses are open to professionals in the public and private sectors who need to update or deepen their knowledge and techniques, which will enable them to become more competitive in their professional practice. The International Summer School in Economics brings a very high-level guest teaching staff to Colombia, so that they can explain recent developments and matters of current interest in the areas of economics.
