The University offers courses in 25 areas, into which student may enroll at the beginning of each semester and earn 0.5 credits. There is also internal contests or championships in several sports, and University teams take part in inter-university championships of the Asociacion Colombiana De Universidades, (ASCUN) in Bogota, and national events. In the inter-university contests Los Andes has been successful for three consecutive years with its rugby team, which has won the championship in Bogota.
Sports for students
Installations The University’s sporting installations include through multi-purpose courts, a football field, a tennis court, a climbing wall, a gymnasium, and a recreation room.
