Full-time teaching staff are to be found in many academic, administrative, research and advisory activities for students. They are in the University full time, and are always available to attend to student concerns. The results of their dedication to research and other work, have had a positive effect on the quality of their teaching performance. The following are some statistics with regard to the educational level of our teaching staff.

Part-time teaching staff
In 2002 there were 617 part-time teaching staff, contracted to lecture on a particular subject, and bring to the university their experience and vision of other sectors, such as industry, services, government, and non-government organisations.
