 | Students with IB qualifications |
| Students with IB qualifications receive special treatment for admission and possible validation of introductory subjects. IB diploma-holders may enter the University in this way. The programs with which such arrangements are available are as follows: |

 | International Baccalaureat |
| Students may enter the University with a Diploma score of 28 or more. They should register using the normal process and attach their ICFES examination results. If the ICFES mark is not enough to secure admission, the student should contact Admissions and Records with IB predicted score, explain their situation and request approval of admission. |

 | Are credits given for IB subjects? |
| The University does give credits for IB subjects. In subjects taken at Higher Level in which the student has been given a mark of 5 or more, the University may award the credits that the introductory course for the program earns. |

 | Advanced Placement |
| The secondary schools Nueva Granada (Bogota), Bolivar (Cali) and Parrish (Barranquilla) allow their students to spend an extra year taking in-depth subjects to obtain Advanced Placement. Those taking part in these courses may request validation of the subjects by send in their school marks certificate. |

 | SELECTA/Colegio Andino |
| SELECTA is a diploma awarded for the German school´s secondary studies, obtained if a student stays in the school for a year after finishing the Colombian secondary cycle. To qualify for entry to the University the student should apply in the ordinary way, attaching the ICFES certificate. If the ICFES mark is not sufficient, the student should contact Admissions and Records with the SELECTA diploma, explain the situation and request approval for admission. |

 | Validation of selecta subjects |
| Subjects in which the student has been awarded a mark of 1, 2 or 3 may be validated for credits at the University. |

 | French BAC |
| BAC is the French Baccalauréat obtained by some students at Liceo Frances (Bogota and Cali) and Colegio Helvetia (Bogota).
Students should register using the normal admission procedure, attaching their ICFES certificate. If the ICFES score is not enough to secure admission, contact Admissions and Records with the BAC certificate, to explain the situation and request approval for admission.

 | Validation of BAC subjects |
| Each subject has a maximum score of 20. The student must have earned at least 12 to be accepted for University credits. |
